Its National Lipstick Day
As a black woman that happens to be classified as “really dark” I was taught that I shouldn’t wear lipstick. I was told at a young age that bringing attention to my big full lips was a “no, no” but as Ive gotten older I’ve realized the beauty of lipstick. My big “ol’ soup cooler” are the perfect palate for shiny and luscious colors to be adored by the world! As an ode to National Lipstick Day, I have created a nice collage featuring women of color working a diverse selection of engaging lip pigment.
